We are looking forward to meeting and getting to know your child and your family. We will provide a safe and loving environment with opportunities for individual one-on-one experiences.
Opening and Closing:
A Giraffe teacher will be available at 6:45am Monday—Friday. If you need care prior to 6:45am in the morning, please alert Leighanne in the office prior to the need for early care. The Giraffe Room will close at 5:45pm at which time the Giraffes will join the Gazelle Room for the remainder of the day.
Communication is KEY!
Communication is key for us to meet the needs of your child and family. If you ever have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to come to us. Feel free to communicate with us at drop off or pick ups, through phone call, or by email at giraffe@kids-safari.com. We do check our email daily, but with infants it can be a busy day, so if you have information that needs to be relayed right away please give us a call instead.
Daily and Weekly Notes
Please be sure to complete and individual child form each morning and take home the white copy of the form each night. We will send weekly newsletters through GOLD to update you on our activities and anything you may need to know for the upcoming week. We will also provide written observations and journals through GOLD for a more personalized glimpse into your child’s development and center experiences.
Cubbies and Belongings
Each child has a labeled cubby where their personal belongings will be kept. Please be sure to label bottles, NUKS, etc. Please also label each part of your child’s bottle as best you can. This will help from getting bottles mixed up when we send them home at the end of the day.
