Our classroom participates in the daily news via email through GOLD. The news provides information about what the children do throughout the day. The Parent Board is located just inside our classroom and provides information on the weekly curriculum, food menu, and monthly activities. If you would like copies of any of these postings please ask and will provide you with one. Pocket folders are located just inside the classroom next to the Parent Information Board. These folders hold items such as art work, accident reports, and other take home information for parents. Information for toilet training and napping are on the Potty and Sleep Charts which are located on the wall next to the bathroom.Toilet Training
We work with parents and the children in achieving successful toilet training. Please let us know how we can help your child achieve this important milestone. If you choose to work on toilet training, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately in clothing that allows him or her to be independent.Toys from Home
We ask that any toys your child needs as a transition item to be placed in their cubby at arrival. Please make sure it is labeled and that it does not pose a choking hazard for the children. If your child needs to hold on to it for a couple of extra minutes, the teacher will help put it away once your child is acclimated to the room for the day. On Friday, your child may bring in ONE toy to play with during the day. If the toys present a problem, it may be put away until you arrive.Opening and Closing
If you arrive prior to 7:00am your child should be dropped off in the Cafeteria. At 7:00am a Cheetah teacher will be in and available for drop-offs at that time. The Cheetah Room will close at 6:00pm.Morning Schedule
